Birthday Celebration

The City of St. Augustine’s Birthday is one of the most exciting times of the year. The celebration grows each year and this year includes three full days of special events.

This year, the celebration will focus attention on the Native Americans that lived here before, during and after the arrival of the Spanish settlers; the reenactment of Pedro Menendez’s landing in 1565 followed by a celebration of Mass; a special interactive exhibit of the city’s historic timeline; and a birthday party complete with cake and games.

Lance Alexander Gives Back to Community and Receives Eagle Scout

As a 15 year old, attempting to attain the rank of Eagle Scout is, in itself, quite a feat.  However, Lance Alexander is officially an Eagle Scout due to his organizational skills and just plain hard work at Francis Field.

Storm Drain Markers are to Remind the Public--Stormwater Drains Directly to our Waterways

The City has placed storm drain markers on most of the city's storm drains to remind people that only rain should go down the drains.   The four-inch markers read "No Dumping - Drains to Waterways."
